U-Vison Magazine
The Magician’s Eye has been working on the idea of bringing a new magazine to the public. We want to create a means of promoting all aspects of art to the public. Our idea is to show case artists such as musicians, photographers, writers, or just normal traditional artists in each issue. We want to bring you something that isn’t bought by the highest bidder (i.e. record companies or anyone else for that matter). We will also do our best to avoid main stream musicians. Our reasoning behind avoiding the main stream musician is due to the recording industry becoming way to commercial and loosing touch with the art that is music. Our goal is to bring this raw true to form art into the light and let the public see, feel, and hear it at its best.
Artists are required to submit their work through a form on our website. At this point we as a company will vote on who we will feature each month. We hold on to all info submitted to us so that if they didn’t make the cut the first time around they are still in the running to land a featured spot in an up coming issue. We as a company will do our best to not favor any form of art over the next. With this being said you can expect a wide variety of art to be covered through out our existence.
Another part of U-Vision Magazine will show case clubs, bars, restaurants, and lounges around town. We will be conducting honest reviews on these venues based on a ranking system that each venue is subject to. Not only will we be ranking them as a company but we will be writing an in detail description of our experience to share with the public. These reviews will be written by anyone willing to do so (i.e. public and our employees). We will have available on our website a downloadable ranking form to be filled out by the reviewer. They will then come back to our website and enter all the information into a form that will be sent to our staff to look over. After approval of the submitted review we will post the information on our website and send a staff member out to give them a final review if time permits. We will also have poles available on out website to help with ranking local venues so that the public can see how the locals feel about these companies.
This website is the first stage in bringing U-Vision Magazine to life. We are hoping to bring this project to print by June of 2007 but that is highly based on how much attention this project gets from the public. This is all up to you. If you want U-Vision Magazine to come to life show your support and help us promote this project.
